Yep I received Valentine presents from Nitro:

This evening Nitro tp-ed me to Spirit a full sim installation made by Claudia Jewell, inspired by Bosch and created with mesh. There is a free mesh avi near the entrance point, a gift for all.
Claudia her creations are enchanting. I had seen her work at The Path but Spirit is phew soo much more.

I know I blogged these items; the Anymore Doll skin and the Elikatira Abbey hair before, but not so detailed as I do now. I truly love the mesh hair coz it's super when blogging: no hair sticking in my body anymore. The Doll skin is really nice too. Freckles freak as I am, I combined it with the tattoo freckles layer of YS&YS.

Wearing one of the many skins from the Doll folder (with/without cleavage, with/without freckles, different make-ups) and the Abbey hair in red 05 (the carrot reds folder gives 5 hairs in different shades of carrot red).

New is also the Pepper snake belt, which comes with a menu; different options for texture of belt and buckle as well as resize option. I bought it at TFG this week, however, it didn't load into my inventory (I hate it when SL plays tricks on me). Danni Pfeffer, the designer was so kind to resend me immediately after I IM-ed her and explained what had happened. Thanks again Danni!

Tee 'I need you' and pants with suspenders are Anymore items too. Hey, hey I am a true Anymore girl today ^^
The gloves are my fav LouLou&Co Crepuscule ones, the tattoo is another fav of me; Angelic Freedom and awww I am wearing a ring Nitro gave me last nite, which he made himself. I love it, kisssssss sweetie!

Irresistible Urban girl(s) Lana & Elena

Wearing lots of new items this evening:

Let me start with the new Truth hair of this week called Lana, shown with roots and in quince. Awww so much fluffy hair :-)

Next is the new Essences skin called Elena, wearing pale. This skin comes with many many tattoo layers for eyeliner (awesome luv those muchly), cleavage, public hair, lipstick, blush and freckles). On the photos I am wearing Essences tattoo layers lipstick red 01 and freckles 02, which I combined with my fav YS&YS freckles tattoo layer.

My outfit consists of parts of the Urban Girl look 83 of Irresistible Design. I like the cute sneakers with leg warmers and the sweatshirt around my waist.

I replaced the Urban Girl white top and red sculpted body warmer for another new item; the Pink lipGloss cheeta jacket in black. The jacket comes in 3 colours: black, cheeta and pink.

As promissed showing another lovely Bliensen + MaiTai necklace: this one is called Tropfen dots and comes with matching earrings.

The tattoo 'my vida loca', which I blogged a few days ago is from JB (Juicy Box)

Take care when driving coz it's slippery! We had snow today in Holland and 800 kilometers of traffic jam as a result :-(

But hey it's weekend now yeah, sooo wish you all lots of snow pleasure!

C&P Casual Wear Lace top

Today was my rezzday and I had a small party at my home this evening. Fabio RL sang two songs for me and played the guitar. I loved it, thanks again darling!
Unfortunaltely Kooky couldn't be there, due to RL obligations, but Cath, Petrov and of course my BF Nitro were present as well as Lizcar and her BF Luc4s and later in the evening Sparks and Cat visited too.

In the beginning of the evening Cath gave me two lace tops to review. So here they are. I like them, nice texture and muchos sexy ^^. Btw the guitar picker on the photo is of course Fabio.

Tomorrow, 23 January, I will be 5 years old! Arghhhhh time flies when you are having fun ....
Phew I won't bother you with old stories but show you a new outfit coz hey it's almost my rezz day and I should look gooooood!

Yesterday Kooky and I went to Collarbor88 and I bought lots of stuff: an awesome fountain, a lovely culture living room set from Trompe Loeil, a Tres Blah graphic Tee especially for my BF coz it had a French text (Merci Beau Coup) on it ^^ and this awesome (NO) Sari-Kimono dress in red/yellow I am wearing.

I completed this outfit with New AMD Crater earrings and little rock bracelet (comes with necklace too) as well as the New BoHo Turquoise jeans jacket (supa!).

Oh and that's not all coz his evening I couldn't resist and bought these awesome New mesh Maitreya Devi booties faded teal.

Phew a busy RL weekend so little time to blog :-(
I will do my utmost to show you some of the many nice new items. I start with this classy set called Cloer from Amerelo Manga; luv the stola ^^

Also wearing one of the two NEW Truth hairs of this week called Evelyn, luv it.
And what about the mesh Mayfly eyes called Paris Green, wow those are supa!

Some info coming from the NC that accompanied these mesh eyes:
Mayfly mesh eyes have a custom sizing script, which is programmed with 28 preset sizes that automatically adjust their position.
What's more, you get multiple iris size choices in one eye! The custom script actually has two sizing options that allow you to effectively choose iris sizes that are either proportioned like your regular eye and even a little larger, or ones that let you move into sizes that are smaller than your usual irises.
Because the eye textures are applied to a prim, they appear a little sharper than the slightly softened look of a regular avatar eye. That's a nice, unexpected bonus!

I moved

After over 1,5 yrs living at my island on Tohl sim I moved yesterday to live with Nitro. What a step!

Here's me sitting on the stairs of my new, or should I say old Japanese house. I used to live in this Japanese teahouse a long time ago and wow I am so happy to use it again together with Nitro. It's so nicely made and was adjusted by Japanese friends specially for me to fit the limited prims I had at the time.

But not only the house is nice, what about the awesome trees, the lovely hangout AND the entire winter sim; coz yeah it sure has been snowing out here ^^

Wearing a new Siss Boom outfit called petite roses; consisting of socks, jacket, underpants and a sculpted skirt and waist(belt) which I combined with the awesome tintable Miel Lish necklace (one of my faves).

TDR Happy 2012 - Cheers!

Wearing Miamai Areree makeup with cute prim parts (feathers in black) as well as white stardust makeup. This is soo cute, I haven't taken this make up off since I received this awesome Group Gift.

Yesterday I visited The Dressing Room (TDR Happy 2012) coz they have 2 items for sale now; one is a new release, the other is the TDR best seller of 2011. I bought lots, lemme show you some:

First of all a pair of supa Sparkling feather earrings from Glow Studio. They come in gold/silver as well as in white and black combinations. Showing the black silver ones in the picture on top of this blog post.

Of course I bought the Ricielli Special New Year set, how can one say no to that package for only L$ 70?

Phew a lot of items all in champagne/beige: the lovely Beatriz sequined miniskirt in gold (shown), earrings, a ring, a minidress, a lovely beige coat with supa collar as well as one of the famous Ricielli Misseiling leather jackets and a Monroe longshirt with sculpted part. I am showing you the beige bodysuit combined with the sequined skirt, the Donnaii coat and the MSMonroe longshirt combined with the skirt layer of the Camila minidress.

When I saw this lingerie set called Incanto Red from one of my fav shops Fishy Strawberry was for sale at TDR I rushed over, had to have it!
Incanto comes in many many different layers and includes stockings, a garter option and a sheer tank. Love this set! Super textures and details.

The Cynful Xmas gift 'Day Off Sweatshirt' in red. There's also a white version in the folder, but I prefer this red one. It's so very Xmas! - NEW
From the Peqe Xmas gift I am wearing the skirt (NEW). I love the color and simplicity of this skirt and it combines sooo well with the red Cynful sweatshirt.

I finished the outfit with the cute Santa's Girl fishnet leggings (part of the December group gift outfit of BDR) and
the DRD Xmas Looseboots with socks. I decided I will wear these boots the whole year through coz they are too good to store in my closet waiting for next Xmas.

Wow, an awesome December group gift this evening coming from LaVie called Snowflake. Showing you the hair and the 'dress'. I combined it with Katsucide Laura skin from my invent and not with the accompanying LaVie Rachel skin. Although the Rachel skin is less revealing and doesn't show nipples.

Furthermore wearing my red Alex strap heels from G*Field. The handsome guy holding me on this DM pose is of course my BF Nitro.

Wow, Nitro made a short but supa video of the two of us skating at North Pole as well as posing on Del May (Ivy) at Angel labs, while wearing this Snowflake outfit. Please take a look it's really awesome.

Revisiting Daytime Dreams this evening with Nitro, however this time another intriguing sphere/skybox created by MrsDay Oh: a black tree with monitors instead of fruit hanging from its branches. Nice pose balls in the tree, a parrot that starts talking to you in chat (couldn't find it must have escaped from the cage laying at the foot of the tree) and a chair with a pigeon on it.

Wearing:

Siss Boom outfit uptown in black. I like it, coz it's stylish, minimal with an eye for detail (those buttons, aww luv them) and nicely made. Yesterday I blogged a skin from this shop but I must say they make nice outfits too.

Wow Cameron the owner/designer of BDR (Beautiful Dirty Rich) has been creating so many lovely winter outfits lately. I received a bloggers review pack and in this post I am showing you two of them. Luv them both!

Starting with the Winter Dream outfit which comes in many colors (showing the grey one). As always BDR outfits are very complete; this one comes with cape, boots, wollen dress and socks, including all the alpha layers and sculpted parts. Supa nice textures and design.

Now that winter is near it's time to dress warm and comfy, so here we are both wearing our newly acquired C&P winter sweaters:

Walk in the Park

I must admit it was a bit cold and I was shivering when doing this photo shoot in the snow yesterday evening. Initially I wanted to name this blog post '50 words for snow', named after the new cd of Kate Bush, but I couldn't find a decent Youtube movie to enclose, sooo 'Walk in the Park' it is; i.e. the name of the cute Pig undies I am wearing.
The lovely striped shawl is a groupgift of BoHo HoBo, wow those colours. Join her group (no entrance fee) and do look around in her nice shop.
Furthermore, I am wearing the bloody knee tattoo layer of Anymore ... going through the blogs last week it seems almost everybody stumbled and hurted their knees ^^
The cute belly piercing is also new and comes from Scrub.
Oh and those nice red boots are a part of the BDR outfit 'Baby It's Cold Outside', which I blogged a few days ago (luv them!)

Putin's kiss & four horsemen

Today something completely different; the title of this post refers to an intriguing documentary film I saw yesterday at the IDFA (International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam). I spent a day watching several screenings, but Putin's kiss was definitely my favorit!
Synopsis:
Very impressive story about Marsha a 19-year-old girl in nowadays Russia who is already a Nashi commissar and spokesperson. She is ambitious and in no time she progressed to the very top of the organization, becoming the protégé of Russia's Minister of Youth. Up for election within Nashi Marsha loses to a candidate whose program is called “fighting the enemies of Russia,” and starts questioning her role in the movement by flirting with the opposition. Marsha soon get in trouble when “unknown perpetrators” attack the opposition leader Oleg Kashin, beating him almost to death.
After the screening there was a Q&A session with the director, Lise Birk Pedersen and Oleg Kashin, journalist/blogger and one of the characters in the documentary. Wow impressive.

I include the trailer. If you have the opportunity go and see it, you won't regret!

Another screening and also very impressing was 'Four Horsemen' by Ross Ashcroft. I give you the trailer and the synopsis of this documentary too.

Synopsis:

We find ourselves in the era of consequences. The Western empire is showing signs of wear and tear, and the time has come for a thorough and close examination of neo-capitalism. Rather than condemning bankers, politicians, or the media, this film puts the entire system up for discussion. In a little over 90 minutes, 23 of the world's most important thinkers share their opinions on contemporary capitalism. We encounter a surprisingly large number of puzzling issues along the way. The documentary draws to a close with surprisingly simple solutions for reversing the deplorable state of our world; as the ecologist Satish Kumar says, "What is created by humans, can be changed by humans."

Yeah I know this has nothing to do with SL fashion, but hey sometimes RL stuff needs attention too and certainly the themes of both these documentaries. So enjoy ^^

Winter in SL

Yeah it's winter again in SL and of course I went skating. This time at Calas Galadhon, a large nice winter landscape sim. I luv skating: I never forget the first time I did in SL, which was at the Red Square in Moscow made me smile all the time. So much fun.

Wearing a NEW outfit of BDR (Beautiful Dirty Rich) called 'Baby It's Cold Outside' in red (comes in many colours); jacket, pants and boots. Not showing the cute earmuff coz it disappeared into my hair argh. I truly love the jacket and boots .... they are so warm ^^

Furthermore wearing the other NEW Truth hair of this week called Clara in quince.

Wow I adore this outfit consisting of the awesome Miamai VIP groupgift Linda in back. Miamai is celebrating it's renewed Mainstore and has lots of new items making the trip interesting. Here's your taxi.

I combined Linda with the super cute short jacket in black from Halcali (also comes in gold, silver and white) and the really awesome WOot brown waist belt feather. Using two new poses of Del May called 'Can't reach toes' & 'Gifted' (adore her poses).

I received this cute Chocolate gown which consist of many sculpted items and a skirt layer, which I didn't like, coz I just don't like skirt layers most of the time ^^, but this dress is cute; it's from Paris Metro, a store I love coz they make nice dresses sooo I had to show you ^^.

Sora from Egoisme

I had seen the announcements and posters and was eager to know how this new skin would look on Dido. Sooo here I am presenting you my version of Sora from Egoisme, their new female Evian skin. I am wearing the pale no eyebrows option, combined with Evian vividtone Sora - eyesbrows cleavage layer (made more light by me).
Yep, that's so nice about Vividtone; a new technique made to enhance the skin tone without the loss of detail. Vividtone is a tattoo layer. Here's what you do: you go into appearance mode, select the tattoo layer, click on color and use the slide to choose the desired color. Easy like that.

I changed my Dido shape, coz the Sora lips are in my view enormous, but hey I am not a big sulky lips fan ^^. Sora is a far more mature skin and I must admit I really have to get used to it. It sure is different and that's nice, coz although everybody has a different shape it's fun to wear a skin that isn't mainstream.

Wow Mina is productive these days coz here's another of her hairs; this one is called Michelle and exclusively made for the Black Market collection (wearing DR06 and same MINA TKO hairbase). Not available in her mainstore but ONLY at The Black Market; a location where you can get great deals from all your fav stores at the same time, in one place. The Black Market will be open to the public starting November 13th!

[Penned] by Pennelope Thiessam sent me a bloggers review pack containing a blazer and a fatpack of tanks (wearing brown in the picture). I like the texture of the blazer, although the total picture is a bit dull. The tank again has nice texture and comes in many colours and in all layers.

And yet another skin pffff but hey this one is gorgeous! It's the Essences Dharma skin for this years Vintage Fair. Wow love the glossy lips and the tone. Yeah this wil become one of my favs for sure. I combined it with YS&YS freckles tattoo layer (cannot help it but I adore freckles).

The Essences grey Crocchette shirt comes in different layers and colours. I like it, nice texture and easy to combine. Btw it's also for the Vintage fair. I tried to get there this evening but pfff impossible; guess I wasn't the only one trying. Well still enough time left to visit the fair as it will be on for a while.

Well I must say this outfit makes me feel very decent and mature, so I asked Nitro to wear something to fit into the picture. He did and is wearing the Ronsem cardigan grey.

Furthermore wearing Truth Valeska hair streaked with roots in pumpkin. This is one of the new Truth hairs of the past week ... yeah, time flies when you're having fun.

Freckles and more

Phew not easy to find a theme today, so I combined a lot of NEW items I really really like and molded them into this post. It's about shiny red (one of my fav RL and SL colors), freckles, fluffly hair, a bird singing and more ^^

I love this fierce red shiny bodysuit, lovely color and design. A nifty piece in my SL wardrobe.
Another new item is A Birdsong Ishtar flower ring and necklace (comes in two lengths). Wow, this is a set I really like coz it's easy to wear with many styles and... no bling bling ^^
Furthermore, wearing a new skin; yeah I know I have too many already, but pffff couldn't resist buying this one at the 50% SALES going on right now at RedMint (r)M. It's the Pale skin no. 7 (1) Prime with lots of freckles.
Last but not least and NEW too; one of this weeks Truth hairs called Shari in champagne. Wow this one is so fluffy and soft, luv it!
