EXTREME, the September 2020 exhibition @ Nitroglobus

Superb poster made by David Silence

'EXTREME' by Poupée Anna-Nana and Nathaniel Jehangir

I am so proud to introduce @ Nitroglobus these two intriguing photographers, who are taking more or less their first leap into the 'SL art world'. Super happy they choose my gallery to show their work.

This shared exhibition is about deep and extreme feelings of endured trauma, madness, anger and love. No doubt it will touch you as it did me.

Igor Ballyhoo donated his work 'Dead Forest', which never was exhibited before and fits perfectly with the theme/images of the exhibition, as does Nitro's sculpture 'My best profile'.

Description of the exhibition by the artists:

Each of us has deep-rooted extreme feelings, often based in traumatic experience, that can be hard to control. We often aren't even aware of these feelings.

Sometimes these feelings make us move around in circles, influencing our relationships with others and our own self-awareness. It's only through self-awareness that we are able to see and free ourselves from these feelings, that we can step out of the 'circle'.

We present these extreme feelings here in our images, each of us in our own way. We are two distinct artists, two different views and ways of interpreting the same themes.

We limit the description of this exhibition to what you find here. You are left with only the essentials. You, the viewer of this art, must find room in your imagination to find meaning in each piece. We will not block that with a lot of words.
