Josje in Indie Rose

Wow, here's another NEW MINA mesh hair called Josje (that girl is soo productive lately) and a NEW Spring Release from Indie Rose, consisting of a layered floral sculpted skirt with a mesh cropped top. Both items come in 4 soft spring colors. Lovely, especially the top I love muchly. Thanks to the designers for these awesome bloggers review items. 

The Fri.day Peggy T-straps in red (tomato) are an ad on for SLINK medium barefeet. I love them. I already got the black ones, but red was definitely a must have ^^

This evening in between working on photos of and a party invitation for the exhibition 'The Masks we Wear' by Sina Souza and Sabbian Paine, I finally managed to tp to Collabor88 March 2014 edition. 
Phew, as usual it was very crowded and took a loooong time for stuff to rezz. 
However, when it did finally rezz ... wow. 

I was in a hurry so little time to try on all the demo's. However, I did buy this lovely black Fishy Strawberry mesh Tokyo Office shirt as well as the cool D!va Judy hair in Black Amber, which comes with a script that lets you resize hair and change the color of the ribbon.
I also bought the cute Flowey 'on the go' poses, which were used in this photo shoot at former gallery exhibitor Ronda Saunders her new installation.

The Masks We Wear

We have a NEW exhibition at Nitroglobus gallery. It opened this evening: 
'The Masks We Wear' by Sabbian Paine and Sina Souza. For the first time these two awesome artists exhibit together.  

Together also they choose the title and interpreted the theme of masks in their very own special way, leaving both a very personal ‘signature’

Important info: 

Both artists tied a QUOTE  to EACH art work to EXPLAIN what INSPIRED them to create that specific work. These quotes can be found FLOATING ON THE WATER.

LAST DAY of Sina's exhibition at Nitroglobus

Tomorrow (Friday, 27 September) is your last chance to admire the awesome work of Sina Souza at the walls of Nitroglobus Gallery, coz we will be changing exhibitions over the weekend.

It's a dualistic feeling for me coz it always hurts a bit when we change exhibitions. Especially the moment when we take down the art from the walls and the gallery is empty. I get sort of used to the look and feel of an exhibitor his/her work and how Nitro makes the gallery fit around that work. 

But mmm on the other hand it's exciting of course to set up a new exhibition. This October exhibition will be super cool. More info in the next days ^^

Just a REMINDER when you haven't visited the exhibition 'The Reflections of My Mind' by Sina Souza at Nitroglobus gallery yet. You still have till the end of this month. 

All images shown reflect parts of Sina’s past, her deepest feelings and thoughts. They tell about her wishes, concerns, past and the eternal search for her soul, which seems unreachable in the cage of her mind. 

Sina is an autodidact who loves to be creative and let others participate in her life with the help of her work, as well as is proud when others get ‘touched’ by her images

Last Thursday we had Sina Souza's party; i.e. the opening of her exhibition at Nitroglobus
Many came and joined us in dance on the tunes of the one and only DJ Lex.
Great fun and creative avi's dressed according to the dresscode for that evening 'jail or masked' ^^
I couldn't resist to take some photos before and during the party. Here they are. Enjoy!

STARTING SUNDAY EVENING (Paris time) 1st SEPTEMBER we'll have a NEW exhibition at Nitroglobus gallery: 
                     
                 SINA SOUZA with 'THE REFLECTIONS OF MY MIND'

Nitro & I are happy & proud to have Sina's work on the walls of our gallery during the month of September. Moreover, coz all artwork shown will be especially created by Sina for this exhibition at Nitroglobus.

Although Sina started making SL art a relatively short time ago, she already gained a lot of publicity as well as admirers. She developed her own very personal and expressive style; in other words you recognize a true 'Sina'.

The images shown at our gallery will be reflecting parts of her past, of her deepest feelings and thoughts; that's why she named it 'The Reflection of my Mind'. They tell you about her wishes, her concerns, her past and the eternal search for her soul, which seems unreachable in the cage of her mind. 
Searching for herself between all the chaos that reigns in her mind: trying to find the real Sina, who is hidden behind the mask of despair.

The images give you an insight into her mind, which is surrounded by the cold steel of her protective armor and is like a difficult mountain to climb. So feel what she feels and you get a small glimpse of her life.
