'Postcards from the Subconscious' by Maloe Vansant & Burk Bode, the May-June 2016 exhibition @ Nitroglobus Hall.

I am super happy and proud to present to you 'Postcards from the Subconscious' by Maloe and Burk, a famous talented couple in the SL art scene, are back at Nitroglobus with work that can only be made by them; their style, their constant quest in exploring their dark side.

'Postcards from the Subconscious' explained by the artists themselves: 

This exhibition is like a child. It was planned friendly and glamorous. But as always our unconsciousness send us postcards. Feelings like bubbles coming up that told us we had to make just this picture and no other.

So at the end our child is not what we planned it to be. It became somebody dark and nasty. Looking at us like a misbehaving child and telling us: 'I don't like you'. Astonished we answer: 'but we love you and we made you!?!'

Our child turned out to be somebody else: dark, coz it emerged from the dark sides of our souls. Sticking out its tongue and smiling at us boldly. But we still love it ...

The Sum of Our Parts

Starting tomorrow Wednesday 26 June Nitroglobus gallery proudly presents 'The Sum of Our Parts', an exhibition of Alles Klaar & Kynne Llewellyn. 

Who doesn't know these creative ladies by now? They've been making great artworks and as long as I can remember always teamed up and exhibit their work together.
Kynne and Alles not only exhibit their work together they also are 'bonnes amies' and share a blog.

Alles her photographic style is colourful, eclectic, vibrant and whimsical and sometimes, “just all over the shop”

Kynne indicates that she likes to think that most of her artwork tells a story and she's fascinated to hear what imaginative stores others come up with as they look at her photos. 

'The Sum of Our Parts'. Why this particular title? 
Well Kynne and Alles both like mixing and matching their avatars and if you look at their work you will often see Alles in human form but with android arms, or Kynne in dolly form but in the most wonderfully glorious outfits. So the exhibition title is a natural extension of that. 

I also wanna stipulate Nitro's creativity; he made the wonderful reflections and put some rain/storm and thunder in the gallery. Don't worry there are umbrella's for everybody at entrance point ^^

The party's over now

Yesterday, Thursday 4th April we celebrated the opening party of the exhibition 'Two Souls Meeting' by Paola Mills and Maloe Vansant, two very creative persons who make awesome photos in Second Life. 

It was a nice party, DJ Lex played great tunes and many attended and enjoyed. Well known faces but also new ones.

Yesterday (4th January) we (= Nitroglobus Gallery) organized a black & white party for Cica Ghost.

It was an enormous success, i.e. many came, others couldn't get in coz the sim was overloaded most of the time :-(, but hey cannot have it all not even in SL.

Cica her installation 'Pieces of Cica' will be in place at Nitroglobus Gallery for another week. We intend to change around 15th January.

Last nite (14 November) we had the opening party of the awesome installation of JadeYu Fhang at Nitroglobus gallery. Although you might have missed the party you will be able to see JadeYu's work at our gallery for the coming weeks. 
Soooo come and take a look, wade through the water or sit on one of the many bubbles ^^, I promiss you will be enchanted.

July: PetsiKat exhibiting at Nitroglobus Gallery

Yeah it's July and we have a brand new exhibitor at Nitroglobus Gallery! Her name is PetsiKat Markova and this is her first exhibition and omg she is thrilled, as are Nitro and I btw ^^


PetsiKat llikes to explore SL - alone or with her BF Iam -  and she takes  awesome photos of all the creative places she visits. Her final artwork shows the sharp eye she has for color and composition.

New exhibit at Nitroglobus Gallery

Dannyboyo, a RL artist exhibits new work at Nitroglobus Gallery during the month of June.

What can I tell you about the work of this RL artist, who hides behind the SL name of Dannyboyo?

He told me I could exhibit his work here at our gallery because he was curious what the reactions would be; a sort of try out in a safe environment; i.e. Second Life.

He told me the following: 

'The work I sent you to exhibit represents a fairly large range of styles. 

All are manipulated from pornography, but some are more recognizeable and explicit than others. My hope right now is to get reactions. I want to know what people respond to.' 

I am honoured  Dannyboyo gave us the exclusive right to show his original and awesome work here at our Nitroglobus Gallery!

Nitroglobus Gallery refurbished

Dear Art Lovers,

Do come and visit our totally refurbished Nitroglobus Gallery. Industrial look now thanks to Danny Bourne (owner of the awesome ReBourne prefabs) who helped us with great textures. Hugs Danny!

Also new are the kinetic sculpties, intriguing pieces of SL art, by my supa SL partner Nitro Fireguard, as well as new work of me.

In the main hall of the Gallery the colorful photos of Michiel Bechir are still on display for another week. Sooooo come and visit!

Happy Birthday dear Kea, happy birthday to you ;-)

Today is Aikea Reiko (Kea), her RL birthday and to celebrate this she sent out a HUGE-ASS bag of goodies as she called it, to all members of her group (Plastik). She picked out all of her favorite skins, eyes, and clothes for men AND women.
OMG sooo many items; will take hours and hours to unpack and rezz all.

Well I started unpacking at KaToMaNi, where Fabio and I have a small exhibition (8 photos). Do come and have a look, here's your taxi.
