Proudly announcing Yadleen @ the Sunday Cafe of Nitroglobus Roof Gallery.
When : Sunday 11 December
Time : 21 hrs Amsterdam time (=12 pm SLT)
Theme: 'Resonant Dreams' (text by Yadleen)
Everyone has dreams. Dreams are combined with feelings and emotions. I transfer my dreams into music. If you listen - you may get in resonance with my feelings. Our thoughts will get in resonance. Maybe we even have the same dreams. Sometimes we can feel it physically too. If it happens it's beyond words. "If all words have been spoken, only music remains."
Yeah, finally I did it, I bought a mesh head. Pfff, it took me a long long long time to decide and it wasn't easy, coz most of the mesh heads are lookalikes, have too pounty lips, etc etc.
Until last weekend when I got inspired by a blog post of League about their Ella Catwa appliers created for Catwa Annie (although League mentioned Ella will also fit other Catwa heads).
I was triggered coz I liked the look AND moreover, it reminds me of my Dido system head look. Soooo I set off to get demo's, turned to my friend Mina for advise and ... after a thorough investigation bought the Catwa head as well as the League applier & body skin. AND of course freckles yeah freckles, coz what is Dido without her freckles?
And here's the result: mesh headed me :-)
Moreover, wearing my at the moment absolutely fav Mina hair Haley. Love that hair muchly, didn't take it off after receiving.
In the top picture I am wearing my newly acquired V.e (ValentinaEvangelista) Tux Jacket and Vale Koer floral strapsuit for Maitreya body. Wow so sexy this (sort of) bodysuit. Both I bought at the latest edition of Uber this week.
The two photos above were made at Ini's Blue Orange club, a lovely place to relax, chat, laugh en listen to good music. Here's your taxi to BO dikke kus Mesh headed Dido
Sharing some info about the NEW exhibition @ Nitroglobus Roof Gallery with you, coz I am very happy and proud to have Elo's works on the walls of my gallery!
When Elo started to make photos in Second Life, she liked to make portraits. However, with the years, and the people she met, she wanted to explore the BDSM side of SL, that is by way of making photos, because from what she learned, to submit to someone is not a small thing.
Most of all she wants her photos to express deep feelings, and often she adds songs to them, to make them stronger, music is also a big part of her life.
Here, in this exhibition 'Always Closer' Elo wishes to express the changes in her SL, as well as in her real life. This year was full of emotions, good and not so good, but all very intense. The little submissive girl didn't find her Master, or maybe she did, but not a master from a BDSM world. Now she understands what submission means, although deep in her heart she probably always knew, however, it's more clear to her now. Submission is the ability to give the best of you to the one you love, without any questioning about the reasons of this love. It's there, that's all and you must show it, you must say it, and get Always Closer to it, because life is too short.
And because every beautiful story ends like this, the little girl dreams that 'Ils se marièrent et eurent beaucoup d'enfants' :-)
Special thanks goes to Exa (Exa Valkoinen), Elo's partner, for his patience, and being a great help/model/friend/partner and so much more.
The exhibition 'Always Closer' will be on the walls of Nitroglobus Roof Gallery during the months of November/December, so plenty of time to visit.
Two weeks ago I suddenly had to move Nitroglobus Hall to another place on the grid, because Joa, my dear friend and the owner of the sim where Nitroglobus Hall was situated high up into the sky, no longer could pay. All this happened within a very short while. So, you can imagine lots of stress and hard work.
The new gallery is called Nitroglobus Roof Gallery and it's located above my SL home at Sunshine Homesteads. Here's your taxi , All the works of the exhibition 'Awakening' by Natalia Seranade were moved too and will be on the walls of Nitroglobus Roof Gallery till the end of October.
Let me tell you something about her exhibition and moreover show you some photos, which I made of the gallery featuring Natalia's works.
Bringing street photography into Second Life, Natalia captures chance encounters, random incidents and morphs them, using Photoshop, into works of art.
"I am grabbing things that appear in front of me, moments and sensations. I keep them as treasures, which are open in moments when I want to color the silence.
When my imagination and fantasies are flying, I mix the collected stuff with new things that appear in the moment, I never know what can appear, and I never know what will be the result. I am in another world where I am able to find what was unknown to my eyes... "
This exhibition 'Awakening' shows concepts and situations of a process of awakening and awareness... Why is my reflection someone I do not know?
Wow, since ages I do a blog post about a fashion item. This UC (unitedcolorsteam) Criss_Cross beige dress for my Maitreya Lara avi is soo smexy that I was inspired and made loads of cool photos of my avi wearing it.
'All_Most Real' by MM (mysterr) MM's first exhibition in SL was in October last year, together with Senna, at Nitroglobus gallery. Now she is back and has all the walls of Nitroglobus Hall to fill on her own. I love MM's work; it's of high quality, with a dreamy sort of mood and sensuality. The theme of this exhibition is exciting and daring, and no doubt will keep people guessing; what is it you see? It looks almost real ..... dikke kus Dido OPENING PARTY: Sunday, 3 July at 21 hrs Amsterdam time (= 12 pm SLT) Music by DJ Ferdy Dress code: come dressed in black and/or white Description of the exhibition in MM's own words: The exhibition is a quest on reality and perception, and how they influence our emotions. We know perceptions win over facts and reality so many times, conditioning our lives. In my search for realism, could it be that the doll finally (like pinocchio) transforms pixels into flesh? Or will she be a doll forever, keeping alive the hope and flame of the search? These works are meant to challenge you to look deeper, not only with your eyes, but also with your heart. Just let yourself go: will you be able to tell what's real and what's not? Maybe nothing is real, or all is, or just a part... taxi to Nitroglobus Hall
'Postcards from the Subconscious' by Maloe Vansant & Burk Bode, the May-June 2016 exhibition @ Nitroglobus Hall. I am super happy and proud to present to you 'Postcards from the Subconscious' by Maloe and Burk, a famous talented couple in the SL art scene, are back at Nitroglobus with work that can only be made by them; their style, their constant quest in exploring their dark side. 'Postcards from the Subconscious' explained by the artists themselves: This exhibition is like a child. It was planned friendly and glamorous. But as always our unconsciousness send us postcards. Feelings like bubbles coming up that told us we had to make just this picture and no other. So at the end our child is not what we planned it to be. It became somebody dark and nasty. Looking at us like a misbehaving child and telling us: 'I don't like you'. Astonished we answer: 'but we love you and we made you!?!' Our child turned out to be somebody else: dark, coz it emerged from the dark sides of our souls. Sticking out its tongue and smiling at us boldly. But we still love it ... Maloe & Burk dikke kus Dido
I like this look coz although the dress is rather innocent, classy and brave, when combined with the tough boots/socks and the hat/hair it gets a totally different look and feel. Yeah, this is my style.

'The Wall', the April 2016 exhibition @ Nitroglobus Hall What can a person do with a wall? Well a lot it seems when you look around in Nitroglobus Hall: one can stand on top of a wall, under a wall, besides a wall... But that's not what this exhibition by GoodCross is really about. It's about emotions. Each image shown reflects an emotion. Come and see for yourself. Opening Party: Sunday 3 April 2016 Time: 12.30 pm SLT = 21.30 hrs Amsterdam time Music by DJ Ferdy Place: Nitroglobus Hall

This project is GoodCross documenting the emotional walls that we all build in, and around us, especially true in case of our lives in Second Life.
In the infogiver at the entrance point of the gallery you'll find, next to the Bio of GoodCross, also a list of all his works exhibited with an accompanying song (youtube url included).. Great to take a tour and stroll along the images and listen to the music the artist picked to fit the image.
GoodCross came into Second Life on 8/31/2011, the bug of photography in SL soon caught up on him, and he has just been absorbed with it and all skills around it. He spends almost all his time in second life, creating and documenting little stories to fit inside the 4 sides of a frame.
My dear friend and landlord Joa and I we love art AND music. And music is what it's about in this blog post.
About a week ago Joa arranged for Portuguese fado singer Zoree Jupiter (Treza Bettencourt) to perform in the cafe of my gallery (Nitroglobus Hall). An enormous success, soo many came to listen to Zoree's moving songs.
Last Sunday Joa tped me over to Cool Cat's Music Circus, where singer songwriter, guitarist Mark Allan Jensen was performing. Wow, we both loved it and I asked Mark if he was willing to perform at my Cafe. He said yes after I showed him and his lovely wife Wendy my gallery and the cafe.
So it was decided Mark would perform Wednesday, 23 March at 1.30 pm SLT.
Yesterday evening (23 March) again we had full house. Mark played a lot of his originals, which I love so much. Please take some time to listen to his songs: here's the url to his website
No doubt Mark will return to the cafe soon to perform again. We all couldn't get enough of his music.
I received a lot of IM's of people telling me they love these music events and appreciate me organizing. Well Joa and I we love it too. I appointed Joa as my music scout. Curious who will be the next he spots, and who's willing to perform at the cafe :-)
For those interested: I announce the music events upfront in Facebook Events, on my Dido Petra Haas Facebook page, on my Dido Haas FlickR and I send information to my Nitroglobus Gallery SL group (when you like to join this group please IM me and I will add you).
